Graduate Program Announcement
(STILLWATER, Okla., December 6, 2016) It is with great pleasure to announce that the Graduate Program in Fire Safety and Explosion Protection (FSEP) was officially approved in the State Regents’ meeting on December 1, 2016. This is a milestone event in the history of OSU Fire Protection & Safety.
The new graduate program will start in Fall 2017 and the online application will be open soon. Students with undergraduate degrees in fire and safety related fields or any STEM discipline are invited to apply for admission. Students can complete degree requirements either online as distance students or as a resident on campus. Both Thesis (30 hours) and Non-Thesis (32 hours) options are available. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required. Applicants whose native language is not English must also submit results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination or the IELTS (academic stream) examination. Financial support might also be available to a few excellent students.
